Based on the Chrysler Town & Country, the VW Routan features a choice of V6 engines, a well-built interior with seating for seven, and good ride and handling.

Based on the Chrysler Town & Country, the Volkswagen Routan is all-new for 2009. Sharing the drivetrain with its donor, the Routan features a higher quality, yet less versatile interior, and an improved suspension setup. The seats in the Routan offer more padding for improved comfort, but do not fold in as many ways as they do on Chrysler's variant.
