OVERVIEW
Based on a mid-engined layout, the Acura NSX features an all-aluminum chassis and a high-revving V6. Its handling and build quality teach many of its competitors a lesson.
The Acura NSX enters the 2002 model year with a revised exterior that includes fixed Xenon headlights instead of the previous pop-up ones, and larger tires. Automatic versions still come powered by a 3.0L V6 engine, whereas manual models get a stronger 3.2L V6. All models features the removable targa panel that was optional before.
The 2002 Acura NSX Coupe is powered by a base 3.2-liter V6 with 290 hp. Also available is a 3.0-liter V6 with 252 hp.
