OVERVIEW
Based on the rear-wheel-drive underpinnings of the Corvette, the XLR features a folding hardtop and sporty handling. Powered by a V8, its styling is edgy and distinctive.
Changes to the 2008 Cadillac XLR are minor. A heated steering-wheel is now standard and the Magnetic Ride Control system gets revised settings. A limited Alpine White Edition model comes with chrome grille and chrome 18-inch wheels.
For 2007, a six-speed automatic was introduced.

The 2008 Cadillac XLR Roadster is powered by a base 4.6-liter V8 with 320 hp. Also available is a 4.4-liter V8 supercharged with 443 hp.
