Restraints / Dummy Kinematics:
Dummy movement was well controlled in both tests. The driver side curtain and side torso airbags deployed during the crashes. During rebound, the dummy’s head contacted the side curtain airbag, which kept the head away from any stiff structure that could cause injury.

Driver Injury Measures:
Measures taken from the dummy indicate that a fracture of the pelvis would be possible in a crash of this severity. The risk of significant injuries to other body regions is low.

Passenger Injury Measures:
Measures taken from the dummy indicate a low risk of any significant injuries in a crash of this severity.
