Totally redesigned for 2007, Mini Cooper coupes receive new, more fuel-efficient engines (turbocharged for the Cooper S) and offer improved pedestrian and occupant crash protection, courtesy of added dynamic stability control and curtain airbags, while retaining the previous generation's excellent and entertaining handling traits. Mini Cooper convertibles carry over to the 2007 model year unchanged.
