OVERVIEW
The Pontiac Solstice is a good-looking two seat roadster, powered by a choice of 4-cylinder engines, including a turbocharged version. Handling is not on a par with most of the competition.
Introduced for the 2006 model year, the Pontiac Solstice is a good-looking, two-seat, drop-top sports car. Initially available only with a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder, the Solstice's lineup was expanded by a turbo version for 2007. For 2008, all models come standard with the previously optional lined and insulated convertible top and feature a tire pressure monitor.
The 2008 Pontiac Solstice Roadster is powered by a base 2.4-liter Inline-4 with 173 hp. Also available is a 2.0-liter Inline-4 turbocharged with 260 hp.
