The Scion xB polarizes with its boxy styling, which offers ample space for five passengers. Power from the 1.5l engine is adequate, built quality good, while the ride is quite firm.

For 2005, changes are limited to a new Release Series model. Painted in Solar Yellow, the Scion xB RS 2.0 features a color-keyed rear spoiler and side mirrors with integrated turn signal indicators; a tunable sport muffler; a unique grille; and black cloth seat-upholstery with yellow accents.
